Crew Member – Landscape Installation

As a landscape installation crew member, you will assist with installing plants, trees, mulch, sod, hardscape features, water features, and landscape lighting as part of our design and build projects. Hardscape work includes installing pavers, natural stone patios, walkways, retaining walls, seat walls, fire pits, and outdoor kitchens, with proper base preparation, grading, and compaction. Water feature installation covers ponds, pondless waterfalls, bubbling rocks, and recirculating fountains, including excavation, liner placement, pump and plumbing setup, and stone work. Landscape lighting work involves laying out and installing low-voltage path lights, uplights, downlights, and accent fixtures, running wire, setting transformers, and adjusting fixtures for final aim and effect.

This role involves hands-on outdoor work, attention to detail, and the ability to read and follow design plans, grading specs, and installation drawings. You will operate hand tools and small equipment (plate compactors, sod cutters, skid steers, mini excavators) safely and per training. You will work as part of a team to deliver high-quality installations that enhance residential and commercial properties, with a focus on craftsmanship, job site cleanliness, and client satisfaction.

Crew Leader – Landscape Installation

As a landscape installation crew leader, you will oversee installation projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed efficiently, on schedule, and to company standards. You will lead a crew responsible for installing plants, trees, mulch, sod, hardscape features (pavers, natural stone patios, walkways, retaining walls, seat walls, fire pits, outdoor kitchens), water features (ponds, pondless waterfalls, bubbling rocks, recirculating fountains), and low-voltage landscape lighting systems. You are accountable for the quality of every phase your crew touches, from base prep, grading, and compaction on hardscape jobs, to excavation, liner placement, and plumbing on water features, to wire runs, transformer setup, and final fixture aim on lighting installs.

Day-to-day, you will read and interpret design plans, grading specs, and installation drawings, lay out the work, assign tasks, and direct crew members throughout the day. You will work closely with the landscape designer and project manager before and during each job to walk the site, review the plan, clarify design intent, and ensure the finished installation matches the approved design. You will flag any field conditions, conflicts, or proposed changes to the project manager promptly so adjustments can be coordinated with the designer and the client. You will set the pace, model the craftsmanship standard, train crew members on proper technique, and enforce job site cleanliness and safety protocols. You will communicate daily with management on progress, material needs, change orders, and any site conditions that affect the schedule, and you will represent the company professionally in front of clients on site.

This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to safely drive a company truck with a loaded trailer to and from job sites, including backing, parking, and unloading in tight residential settings. You must be able to safely and competently operate skid steers, mini skid steers, mini excavators, plate compactors, sod cutters, and other equipment used on installation projects, and ensure your crew operates equipment only within their training.

Strong leadership skills, solid landscape and hardscape knowledge, and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction are essential.

Crew Leader – Landscape Maintenance

As a landscape maintenance crew leader, you will manage daily maintenance operations across a route of residential and commercial properties. You will lead your crew through mowing, string trimming, edging, blowing, spring and fall cleanups, mulch installation, pruning, weed control, and weekly garden stewardship (deadheading, light pruning, weeding, and watering checks). You will also oversee seasonal flower arrangement installations and changeouts (spring, summer, fall, and holiday/winter) in containers, window boxes, and annual beds.

Day-to-day, you will set the route plan, assign tasks, model the quality standard, and train crew members on technique and safety. You will walk properties to catch issues early (declining plants, irrigation problems, hardscape damage) and report them so enhancements can be scoped. You will handle daily equipment checks, basic field maintenance, and ensure the truck and trailer are loaded, clean, and road-ready each day.

This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to safely drive a company truck with a loaded trailer, including in tight residential settings. Strong leadership, organization, plant and turf knowledge, and a commitment to quality and safety are essential
